The Headquarters for Mission Neighborhood Centers, Inc., is a three-story brick and shingle building comprising of 10,150 square feet of indoor space, with an additional 1,024 square feet outdoor area in the form of a courtyard. The building includes an auditorium and a gymnasium presently used as a classroom. The facility is wheelchair accessible.
Designed by Ward & Blohme, the Center opened its doors in 1912 and is registered with the National Registry of Historic Buildings. This historic landmark building houses daily programs for 80 preschool children and their families, and extends a warm home-like gathering place for over 70 Spanish- speaking elders who attend daily activities. In addition to daily programming, we have our administrative offices in this original "settlement house" in the beautiful, sunny Mission District of San Francisco.
PRECITA VALLEY COMMUNITY CENTER

A two story building with 4,050 square feet of indoor space, the major portion of which is used as a gymnasium. It also includes a small outdoor area used for a community garden. This center operates an afterschool, and various youth development programs. Expanded programming in the evening allows for the "Calles" team to offer late-night recreational services to youth.
TWENTY-FOURTH STREET FAMILY CENTER

This ground floor facility is 3,000 square feet of indoor space with 1,762 of outdoor space housing two Mission Head Start Classrooms. Project facility is wheelchair accessible. The Mission Girls program, gender-specific programming for young girls operates from the second floor.

This new facility purchased in April 1998, provides 40 Head Start Children program sendees in its 1,559 square feet space. The center is located within the landmark affordable housing complex located on the historic lot of the Salvation Army Building.
